FYI, There is an updated Beta UI for Steam available.

To participate in it...

Launch Steam and open the Settings window.
Note the Beta Participation section, and click the Change button.

In the Beta Participation dialog, click on the list of available betas, and choose the one called UI Update.

1. Open the Settings window
2. Click 'Change'
3. Select The Steam Community
4. Close and restart steam

When Steam restarts, the client will download the Beta to you automatically, and the next time you sign in to Steam you'll be experiencing the updated Beta UI.

Enjoy.

i like it too, but steam crash 3 times when i try to oppen games, and it missing all the text in when i click on steam,view,games ect

I think they will offer a more condensed closer to the current style of display for the games (I hope, and based off that this is day 1 of the beta). Overall I like the new style, sometimes change is good.

I've heard good things. If it didn't freeze during map change in TF2, that'd be great, but I'm not sure if it's possible.

be prepared to update and relaunch steam multiple times in a week as they will have alot of bugs with this.

I installed it yesturday and had no issue didn't really play with it though.

I'll see tomorrow as I'll be watching the Canada vs Russia Olympic Hockey tonight. =)
